Rejoice! Praise the Lord!
Sisters of our School Sponsoring Body, the Congregation of the Missionary Sisters of Our Lady of the Angels (MNDA), the distinguished school alumni, representatives from Hong Kong diocese, Franciscan Family and good friends of the Congregation, managers of the schools’ IMC and SMC, former principals and vice-principals, alongside all teacher and student representatives of St. Clare’s Girls’ School, St. Clare’s Primary School & Kindergarten, gathered at Hong Kong Catholic Hong Kong Catholic Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on 8 September 2021, the Feast Day of the Nativity of Our Lady, to celebrate the centennial founding of the Congregation cum 95th Anniversary of the founding of our Alma Mater. It has been a great honour to have His Eminence Cardinal John Tong Hon, the Apostolic Administrator together with five con-celebrants, namely Rev. Ezakias Anthonyswamy, Rev James Boey, Rev Pierre Lam Minh, Rev Efren Ojeda and Rev. Joseph Yim to preside over the thanksgiving mass. Due to Covid-19 pandemic and social distancing policy, the Eucharistic Celebration was broadcast to the schools through live streaming.
All were united in prayer, giving thanks to God for his bountiful blessings to the missionary work of MNDA sisters and evangelization of St. Clare’s schools. In the footsteps of Christ, Our Lady and our School Patron Saint, St. Clare and St. Francis of Assisi, let’s work hand in hand, heart to heart to live out the theme of this momentous occasion :
“So that Love may be loved; let us be all things to all people;
