The school opening ceremony was held on 1 September, 2022 in the school covered playground to kick off a new academic year. Both the school supervisor, Ms. Shirley Wong, and the school principal Mrs. Cherry Chan delivered speeches to all, giving valuable advice, heartwarming encouragements and best wishes for another challenging school year. The theme of this year ‘Sparkling with joy Spirited to thrive’ was announced. Other highlights of the ceremony were the pinning of badges onto student leaders, their pledge of service and sharing by a student Joshulina Lui (the 2021-22 Student of the Year) and two 2021-22 Sr. Lorraine Scholarship winners Ella Chung and Nicole Kong.
