Adventures in Wonderland — Origami Challenge

In celebration of cultural diversity and the 190th birth anniversary of Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, author of the world-famous Victorian fiction Alice in Wonderland under the pen name Lewis Carroll, a 6-week special event, Origami challenge, was held during recess from 28 September to 7 November 2022 in Turcotte Library Café. Enthusiastic students from junior and senior forms attended s series of fun-filled workshops to learn techniques of the traditional Japanese paper art to recreate the main characters of the story. Those who managed to complete the challenge were awarded exciting Super Prizes. Together with the themed exhibition on books related to Alice in Wonderland, Origami Challenge successfully promoted our students’ interest in reading and re-discovering this famous work of literary classics.
