Our school was gratefully invited to participate in the Wah Yan High Table Dinner 2023 which was held on 15 April 2023, two teachers and ten student leaders were nominated to join this event, which ten other schools also took part.  

 

The event provided students with the opportunity to socialize with other participants, practise table manners, and learn from the guest of honour.  Before dining, students introduced themselves and exchanged ideas with other participants in the networking activities.  With decent table settings and culinary delights, our students enjoyed the dinner.  Meanwhile, the bonding between participants and connections among different schools have been enhanced throughout the whole event.  The distinguished guest, Mr. Eugène K. T. Goyne, the Partner and APAC Financial Services Leader from Ernst & Young shared his life and career journey, which brought exposure to decision-making and provided the courage for students to confront changes and uncertainties.

 

 Our students have received a comprehensive experience as well as unsurpassed memories.  The event was a great experience for students to build a broader network and get acquainted with business etiquette; in addition to addressing career and life planning.  This has also strengthened the holistic development of our students.
