Community service is an integral part of Other Learning Experiences (OLE). To nurture students\u2019 loving and caring hearts, our school starts to sow the seed of caring for the community in students by organizing the Bright Light Project in Secondary 1 to 3. Secondary 4 students render voluntary service to the needy under the guidance of teachers and parent volunteers. In Secondary 5, students plan and organize community service to the disadvantaged groups in community in groups. To acknowledge students\u2019 contribution in community service, their service hours of voluntary work are recorded in the \u201cVolunteer Movement\u201d organized by the Social Welfare Department. In doing voluntary work, students have learnt and demonstrated good generic skills. They have also learnt about the needs of the disadvantaged. They have grown through community service.<\/p>\n
