<\/p>\nOn 14 March 2025, our school hosted the Life-wide Learning Day, a special event designed to broaden students\u2019 knowledge through hands-on learning experiences beyond the confines of the classroom.<\/p>\n
\nThe S.1 students embarked on a journey to Nam Sang Wai, known as the \u201cback garden of Hong Kong\u201d, where they rode the last cable ferry in the city at Shan Pui River and delved into the local geography and history. Exploring significant landmarks like the Bin Mo Bridge, the Yi Dei Study Hall, and the Chow Wang Yi Kung Study Hall along the Kam Tin Heritage Trail, they deepened their understanding of traditional Chinese heritage.<\/p>\n

Similarly, S.2 students explored the historical tapestry of Hong Kong during their visit to Sha Tau Kok. They visited the Kang Yung Study Hall, a historic institution serving Hakka villagers, gaining insights into the evolution of education. They also experienced the rich Hakka culture at Sha Tau Kok Farm, engaging in discussions on organic farming and interacting with the farm’s animals.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, S.3 students enjoyed a vibrant wandering tour through Sam Ka Tsuen and Lei Yue Mun, combining cultural exploration with class bonding. They delved into the village\u2019s history, sampled local snacks, and hiked scenic coastal trails. Collaborative activities and team challenges strengthened their camaraderie, while the picturesque waterfront views showcased the area\u2019s natural beauty, fostering a deep appreciation for Hong Kong\u2019s heritage and creating enduring memories of shared adventures.<\/p>\n

Additionally, S.5 students explored career opportunities at St. James\u2019 Settlement, participating in experiential learning to understand various job roles. Guided tours at the University of Hong Kong helped them grasp available subjects and admission processes, aiding students in planning their academic journeys.<\/p>\n
