On 4th May 2026, the entire St. Clare\u2019s community traded the classroom for the cinema for a landmark event in our Clarian Growth Programme. All S.1 to S.5 students and teachers attended a special screening of the critically acclaimed film Ciao UFO (\u300a\u518d\u898bUFO\u300b).<\/p>\n

A Cinematic Triumph<\/p>\n

Ciao UFO is a masterpiece of local storytelling. The film reached a historic milestone at the 44th<\/sup> Hong Kong Film Awards, sweeping five major honors:<\/p>\n

Set against the nostalgic backdrop of Wah Fu Estate in the 80s, the film explores profound themes of friendship, memory, and life choices.\u00a0 It reminds our students that while growing up involves inevitable challenges, we find our path by staying true to our aspirations and facing reality with courage.<\/p>\n

A Special Homecoming: Dialogue with Ms. Amy Chin<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The highlight of the event was a post-screening sharing session with the film\u2019s celebrated screenwriter and distinguished Clarian alumna, Ms. Amy Chin (\u9322\u5c0f\u8559).<\/p>\n
