Our school choir was awarded the first-runner up in this category. It is a territory wide contest organized by the Hong Kong Schools Music and Speech Association. Through participating in this competition, students have learned to sing a medieval chant in Latin and appreciate a highly specialised musical style. These are the adjudicator’s remarks for them: “powerful and unified tone” and “engaging performance”.
