On 15 April 2021, the school organized different activities in response to the National Security Education Day which was stipulated in Article 14 of the National Security Law of the People’s Republic of China. In the morning assembly, panel head of Liberal Studies, Mr. T. W. Chau, introduced the background of the National Security Education Day and the importance of national security to societies. The Law of the People’s Republic of China on Safeguarding National Security in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region has been implemented in Hong Kong since 30 June 2020. As Hong Kong residents, we have the common obligations to safeguard national security, respect the rule of law and abide by the law. Activities related to the National Security Education Day were as follows:

 

1. Raising and displaying the national flag and the regional flag
2. Introducing the background of the National Security Education Day and the importance of national security to societies in the morning assembly
3. Watching a video related to national security and the Law of the People’s Republic of China on Safeguarding National Security in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region in lessons
