Joint School Interact Club Afternoon Tea

Our school had the honor of hosting the inaugural Joint School Interact Club Afternoon Tea on 4 July 2023, which was a resounding success. The event brought together 96 participants, including the Rotarians from the Rotary Club of Hong Kong Harbour, students, and teachers from various schools, such as King’s College, St. Paul’s College, St. Louis School, Wah Yan College Hong Kong, and St. Clare’s Girl’s School. The purpose of the event was to engage in meaningful discussions and sharing on leadership and community service.

The afternoon tea featured networking activities, engaging discussions, and a speech by the guest-of-honor Mr. Joe Ho, Charter President of Rotaract Club of New Ter ritories. Mr. Ho shared his personal experience with Rotary and how it changed his life, inspiring the students to consider how they can make a positive impact in their communities and the world at large. The theme of the event, “Create Hope in the World”, was perfectly aligned with Mr. Ho’s speech and the discussions that took place throughout the day.

In addition to promoting leadership and community service, the afternoon tea also provided students with an opportunity to practice important social skills, such as table manners and etiquette. President Jason and fellow Rotarians from the Rotary Club of Hong Kong Harbour also attended the event, adding to the lively atmosphere and providing the students with valuable networking opportunities.
