Librarian Club x Art Society Prince Light Making Workshop

This year marks the 80th Anniversary of the publication of the famous novel “The Little Prince”. It is a bestselling book worldwide and has been translated into 250 languages. It has also been adapted into radio dramas, stage plays, movies, and TV shows.

To celebrate this occasion, the Library has organized various activities in November and December. In addition to showcasing the book of “The Little Prince and introducing the author’s life, they have displayed books related to “The Little Prince” to attract students to borrow them. In collaboration with the Art Society, they have also organized a workshop for creating eternal rose lamps inspired by “The Little Prince”. Students from the Art Society will serve as activity instructors, teaching participants the skills required to make lightboxes.

. Throughout the production process, students had the opportunity to personalize their own favorite “The Little Prince” lightboxes. This not only encouraged students to contemplate the characters in “The Little Prince,” but also sparked their interest in reading. By the end of the workshop, students created exquisite lightboxes and left with a sense of fulfillment.
