The English Language panel members have been in continuous collaboration with the on-site language support section provided by the Education Bureau in recent years to enhance teachers’ professional capacity in refining their pedagogical strategies to benefit students’ learning. In the 2023 Annual Sharing (Secondary) held on 24 March 2023, our English teacher, Mr. Louis Lo, was invited to explicate how the RaC curriculum implemented in S1 helps cater for diverse learning needs and fosters students’ whole-person development in view of the optimization of senior secondary curriculum. The curriculum design is also aimed to smoothen the interface between junior and senior curricula through the understanding, appreciation and exploration of multiple authentic texts and the Chinese culture in the cross-curricular learning with different content subjects in Technology and Living, History and Computer Literary.
