Thanksgiving Day Programme

On 1 March 2024, a day filled with joy and love, Clarians assembled in the school hall for the Thanksgiving Day program. This special event served as a platform for expressing heartfelt gratitude to the exceptional teachers who have played an invaluable role in shaping their lives.

The program commenced with a captivating series of performances by the S6 students. These performances encompassed acting, singing, heartfelt messages, and moving personal anecdotes. As a token of appreciation, student representatives presented gifts to Ms. Shirley Wong, the supervisor, and Mrs. Cherry Chan, the Principal, on behalf of the entire teaching staff. Additionally, the students extended their deep appreciation to various stakeholders, including the Missionary Sisters of Our Lady of the Angels, the Past Students Association, all committee members of the PTA, school workers, supportive teaching assistants, office staff, IT and lab technicians, security guards, as well as all janitors. They acknowledged their unwavering dedication, invaluable guidance, and indispensable assistance in fostering a highly effective learning environment and maintaining a secure haven for their education.

The program culminated in the “Pass-it-on” Ceremony, where S6 representatives handed over 5 LED light boards to representatives from S1-S5. The first four LED light boards were shaped as letters, symbolizing cardinal virtues: “P” for Prudence, “J” for Justice, “F” for Fortitude, and “T” for Temperance. The final LED light board took the form of the letter “C,” representing the Clarian spirit. This ceremony held great significance as it aimed to foster unity, shared values, and continuity within the school. It provided a platform for senior students to impart their wisdom, experiences, and values to the younger generation, ensuring that the essence of being a Clarian would endure for years to come.

We have unwavering faith that Clarians will continue to demonstrate their profound gratitude and bestow accolades upon the individuals who love and care for them.
