On 8 March 2024, our school organized the Life-wide Learning Day for S1-S5 students. This event aimed to provide them with opportunities to expand their knowledge of the city and develop valuable soft skills through experiential learning activities outside the classroom.
Junior-form students engaged in hands-on activities that focused on enhancing their social skills, observational skills, and cultural understanding. S1 students explored the history of Yuen Long Nam Sang Wai and Kam Tin Heritage Trail, while S2 students participated in team-building and leadership training activities at the Jockey Club Cheung Chau Don Bosco Youth Centre. S3 students went on a wandering tour of lesser-known traditions in Sam Ka Tsuen. For S5 students, guided tours related to career exploration were arranged at local universities, allowing them to become familiar with the subjects offered and the university admission procedures.
The Life-wide Learning Day provided students with a valuable opportunity to step outside the traditional classroom setting, facilitating their self-exploration and personal growth.
