Career and Life Planning Day

The 2025 Career and Life Planning Day was successfully held on May 2. Alumni from various professional fields returned to their alma mater to share their valuable career experiences with all Clarians.

Ms. Chloe Yip, currently an Assistant Environmental Protection Officer at the Environmental Protection Department and an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at City University of Hong Kong, was invited to deliver a keynote speech to kick off the event.







Chloe shared her inspiring journey through both her academic and professional life, underscoring the importance of lifelong learning, self-discovery, and goal setting in building a meaningful career path. Her thoughtful and engaging speech energized the audience and reinforced the value of continuous personal growth and development.







In the second part of the program, breakout sessions were arranged for students from S.1 to S.5:
S.1: Workshop on enhancing self-understanding in relation to exploring career styles.
S.2: ‘Human Library’ event organized by St. James’ Settlement.
S.3: Sessions led by alumni currently studying at universities, focusing on subject selection.
S.4 and S.5: Sharing sessions by alumni from various professional disciplines.







Overall, the event reminded students that making the right choices in life, fueled by passion and academic excellence, can lead to significant achievements in their future careers.
