On 7 November 2025, S.2 students from our school joined thousands at Kai Tak Arena to cheer on Hong Kong’s men’s handball team during their thrilling 28-26 quarter-final victory over Guangdong at the 15th National Games. Our school was invited by the Education Bureau and the National Games Coordination Office. We witnessed non-stop action: rapid passes, three-second dribble limits, and six-player attacks that demanded split-second teamwork. Students grasped handball’s core rules and tactics while experiencing the grandeur of the Games—a triennial celebration uniting Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao since 1959. Hong Kong’s comeback ignited pride, reinforcing the ‘one country, two systems’ harmony and inspiring sportsmanship, national identity, and community spirit.
