The 2026 Career and Life Planning Day was successfully held on 24 April 2026. Alumni from various professional fields returned to their alma mater to share their valuable career experiences with all Clarians.

 

Ms. Angela Kwan, currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of BonVision International Appraisals Limited, was invited to deliver a keynote speech to kick off the event.

Angela shared valuable insights into the valuation industry, drawing on her personal career journey to illustrate the professionalism, integrity, and forward‑thinking mindset essential for success in today’s world. Her engaging sharing broadened our understanding of the industry and inspired the audience to embrace ethical practice, adaptability, and continuous growth in their future career paths.

 

In the second part of the program, breakout sessions were arranged for students from S1 to S5:

S1: Workshop on enhancing self-understanding in relation to exploring career styles.

S2: ‘Human Library’ event organized by St. James’ Settlement.

S3: Sessions led by alumni currently studying at universities, focusing on subject selection.

S4 and S5: Sharing sessions by alumni from various professional disciplines.

Overall, the event provided students with meaningful exposure to diverse career pathways and encouraged them to reflect on their personal interests, values, and aspirations. It reinforced the message that informed decision‑making, guided by passion, perseverance, and a commitment to lifelong learning, plays a vital role in shaping a fulfilling and successful future.
