To encourage students to care for our societies and know more about different global issues (e.g., poverty, equality, refugees, environmental protection, public health issues, etc.), our school joined the SDGs eLearn Award Scheme organized by the UNICEF in 2022-2023. The Scheme allows students to take online lessons on different SDGs and commit practical steps in daily life in support of sustainable development of local community and the world. Over 7,500 participants from 93 secondary schools participated in the event and integrated SDGs knowledge into their daily lives. Six students from our school were eligible to obtain certificates issued by the organizer.

Our school’s English Drama Club has once again emerged victorious at the Drama Fest organized by the Association of English-medium Instruction (EMI) Schools. This marks the third time that our school has won the Outstanding Performance Award, a testament to the hard work and dedication of our talented students.
The Drama Fest, which saw cutthroat competition among five prestigious EMI schools in Hong Kong, was held on May 10, 2023. Our school's English Drama Club put on a stunning performance that impressed the judges and earned them several accolades. Scarlett Sung, the main actress, won the Best Performer Award, while the team also bagged the Best Spoken English Award and Best Teamwork Award. In addition, our school was awarded the grand prize Outstanding Performance Award.
This remarkable achievement is a testament to the tireless efforts of the English Drama Club members, who have been working tirelessly for months to perfect their performances and hone their skills. Their hard work and dedication have paid off in this prestigious competition, and we are incredibly proud of them.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank Mrs. Chan, our school Principal, for her unwavering support in English Drama activities. Without her encouragement and support, our students would not have been able to achieve such an outstanding result.
The English Drama Club members performed at the Prize Presentation Ceremony, which was held at Heep Yunn School on May 30, 2023. We would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to the English Drama Club members and wish them continued success in their future endeavors.
